A Ministry
of Community Christian School
FAMILIES
FACE
is a very active ministry arm of the CCS Board of Directors. Moms,
dads, grandparents, alumnus and friends, all join together to make
CCS a wonderful place to learn and grow. CCS is a parent-sponsored
school and receives its direction from an elected board of directors
who govern under the articles written in the CCS Constitution.
ADVANCING
Fund
raising is an essential part of lift in the "Not for Profit"
sector. CCS is designated a 501 (c) (3), by the United States Federal
Government. Therefore, fundraising is a very important aspect of FACE.
Gifts of classroom supplies, teacher appreciation, and many other
request for "extra's" are found on the FACE agenda and fund
raising calendar.
CHRISTIAN
Faith
is Jesus Christ sets the CCS school experience apart from other educational
experiences. Well-grounded Christian teachers and staff members encourage
and guide students to form a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
FACE assists the school to accomplish these goals by providing funding
and coordination for opportunities inside and outside of the classroom.
EDUCATION
Educating
students for this life and the next is the end goal of the CCS educational
experience. Training students to evaluate, understand, and apply the
sixty-six (66) books of the inerrant Holy Scriptures, CCS students
develop a Christian world view, while discerning absolute truth in
all academic pursuits and in life.
