Application for registration at Community Christian School may be made on the following dates:
Re-enrollment...........................................................February 11
For students presently attending C.C.S. and siblings
New Applicants.........................................................March 9
For those who have made previous contact with C.C.S.
and asked to be placed on the New Enrollment List

After completing the enrollment process, new applicants will be accepted by:
1. Available space in the classroom
2. Order in which request is made in the school office

To begin the enrollment process of your child at Community Christian School, please complete the following steps.

1. Read the Student Handbook, Discipline Covenant, and The Principle of "Giving a Good Report".

2. Fill out the student's Application for Admission.

3. *Complete request for evaluation and return form to the school office. Admission and placement of your child is dependent upon the results of this evaluation. The $25.00 non-refundable testing fee must be paid prior to testing.

4. Participate in post evaluation conference with the school admission
committee.

Bring to the conference the following:
A. Any questions from handbook or other materials

B. Application for Admission
1. Parent Agreements:
a. Financial Contract
b. Field Trip Form
c. P.E. Release

C. Permission for Record Transfer (if applicable)
1. Student Recommendation Form
2. Most recent standardized testing scores, transcript,
and report card.

D. Copy of Child's Birth Certificate

E. Current Immunization Records

6. The medical and immunization records must be complete and returned prior to your child starting school. Kindergartners must have a complete physical and updated immunization record. Sixth graders must have a second MMR immunization.

7. The registration fee, first tuition payment, and first book fee payment is due before the student will be admitted to class. Other arrangements should be
made through the office. (See Tuition & Fees Agreement for Due Dates).

* Typically, Community Christian School students test 6 months to 1 year ahead of other schools. For this reason, we will accept new students in K5 through 8th grade after the student has been evaluated. We want your child to be successful academically at C.C.S. We take our role as servants "en loco parentis" seriously. Our guide for this practice, "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord". Ephesians 6:4

If your child's test results show he/she would do better in a lower grade we will be happy to discuss this possibility.
